Eligibility for Women Techsters Fellowship Program
To be eligible for this year’s fellowship, applicants must complete the following requirements:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 40 at the time of application.
- Eligibility is limited to women who are currently residing in one of the following countries:
- Nigeria
- Ghana
- Kenya
- Malawi
- Liberia
- Burundi
- Uganda
- Zambia
- Zimbabwe
How Individuals are Selected
The selection procedure for the Women Techsters Fellowship Program is intended to find and select the most talented women with the ability to flourish in the technology field. The process includes the following stages:
Application Review: All applications will be properly assessed to ensure that they fit the qualifying criteria and to determine the applicants’ qualifications and suitability for the fellowship program.
Technical Assessment and Video Submission: Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a technical assessment to determine their fundamental technical skills. Additionally, applicants must submit a video demonstrating their motivation and readiness for the program.

- Seletion and screening:
- commences immediately following the application deadline.
- Feedback to Shortlisted Applicants:
- Notification Period: August 2nd-5th.
- Short-listed applicants will receive feedback via email.
- Stage 2 Application for Shortlisted Candidates:
- Period: August 2nd until August 16th
- Final Selection Feedback:
- Only selected persons will be notified by email. Notification period begins August 10th, followed by orientation and onboarding. Dates: August 29th-30th
- Program duration:
- Classes start on September 2nd. Classes end on November 30th.
- Graduation Date:
- December 10th.
