About UK Great Scholarship 2024
The UK GREAT Scholarships provide an extraordinary opportunity for students, granting a £10,000 financial prize that can be applied to tuition expenses for a varied choice of one-year taught postgraduate courses at prestigious UK universities for the forthcoming academic year 2024–25.
This substantial financial support is intended to inspire and enable exceptional students from varied backgrounds to pursue advanced studies and improve their academic and professional talents in the numerous disciplines of study provided by UK universities.
For the 2024-25 academic year, postgraduate scholarships are available to Nigerian students at the following institutions in UK:
- Edge Hill University
- Keele University
- Oxford Brookes University
- University of London
- Sheffield Hallam University
- the University of Manchester
- University of Birmingham
- University of Bristol
- University of East Anglia
- University of Southampton

Eligibility for the UK Great Scholarships 2024
To qualify for a scholarship, you must:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria.
- Have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, and be interested in the chosen topic area.
- Fulfill the English language requirements of the UK. HEI students may connect with the UK as scholars and achieve personal and academic goals.
- Attend a networking event with all UK-based GREAT scholars to share experiences and record impressions of studying in the UK.
- As a GREAT Scholarships graduate, you will serve as an advocate for the program and keep communication with the British Council and their HEI. Be open to chatting with potential applicants on occasion about their own study experience in the United Kingdom.
